I am inspired by the work of Jeffrey Smart and Chuck Close at the moment... I am sure there are a lot of artist that I could list as inspiring but success whilst still breathing has a certain attraction at the present time.
Add Ron English to that list, his work is rocking. Photorealist popart with a huge social edge to it. Very nice!
